Hey! I'm pissed, want to know why?

Because marijuana is illegal. It's not the dark ages anymore; it's not like the government doesn't know ANYTHING about marijuana. I know marijuana can't kill you. A dude can smoke however much he wants and just fall asleep. And that's not even something that can be said about water... People in a bunch of states across the nation are taking marijuana for medical reasons. Hippies have been smoking for decades, and they're still around. So why is marijuana illegal?

Is it because it alters your state of mind? But how is that any different than coffee or beer? Cigarettes? All those things have drugs in them, and they can really change you! But can you imagine the government coming in and saying you're not allowed to experience what coffee is like? - that's what really bothers me.

I really like drinking coffee: it perks me up, keeps me alert, and I just enjoy the feeling. But if I drink too much of it, I'll get addicted... and that definitely is not cheap or enjoyable. The government isn't really protecting me from getting addicted to caffeine. And I don't really need them to. I've got my own self control, maybe I moderate myself a little. So I can take care of myself.

I don't think the government should tell me not to use something that's safe, at least safe compared to the crazy prescription medicines people take everyday. And that's all I'm trying to say. Thank you for reading my rant.

And the universe rebounds!

Yep, the universe has finally figured out that I noticed that it wasn't giving me bad luck (Purposely confusing statement). I didn't get accepted to the research exchange in Germany. Now my only hope is summer internships at the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District.

I seem to be falling into this TARRRRRRIBLE Pre-Spring Break lull. I don't want to do ANYTHING. I didn't even want to do homework, which was due on Monday (I only did 1/3 problems, lol). I have two homework sets due this Friday and a lab on Thursday, but I do not see how I can bring myself to do those. NOT in the mood! I WANT TO GO HOME AND HAVE FUN WITH FRIENDS! whyYyYYyYyYy must there still be school

But at least I don't have finals, suckas

You know, today I thought of a really cool religion. I'd call it.. the Church of the earth. Earth would be purposely left lower case; I think uppercase Earth is for the planet while earth is for the ground. So the Church of the earth!

Let's go over the ground rules.

Basically, what you study is the world. All the time other religions spend reading the bible, you will learn about your surroundings. Be it physical science, social science, geography, history, anything. And then Sundays would be meetings where you chat about what you learned through out the week. - The use of incense would be optional...

So Wednesday was Jackie's Birthday! Happy birthday!! On the topic of happy occasions, do you ever feel like the universe is too kind to you? If good things and bad things should happen at a relatively equal rate, it seems like the universe is giving me a pretty good deal. On Monday I was not feeling well at all and I went to review session, but when I got there, they postponed the review session! This morning I ditched class and forgot about office hours. Then I check my email at 11:30 (OH is from 11-12) and OH was rescheduled to 330-430...
