Time to get yours!
Everyone was complaining not 1 year ago about how the fat cats on Wall Street were getting their bail out... and the Ordinary Joe's on main street weren't getting anything. Well now we've satisfied those money hungry pigs by feeding them troughs of taxpayer dollars, and now it's time we got ours! In the form of a public option! How come public opinion shifted so dramatically! When we were giving money to the financial sector (Totally necessary, since the bailout supposedly prevented a full blown depression) that was O.K... people weren't crazy about it. Now we talk about using the same amount for the American people, and a small minority of people explode! Well shizzles, if the government wants to give me $800 billion in reform that will save lives, improve livelihoods, and prevent health care disasters, then fuck it! Let's do it! This reform is for MY generation and its time for us get ours!

New room arrangement!
I'm so excited! I'm telling everybody! I moved my 2-section couch right in front of my desk, and I made it so I can just use my computer from the couch! It's the epitome of laziness, and I kinda feel like i'm just sinking into my couch half the time. Lol it'll be awesome once I get my wireless keyboard and mouse in the mail. But until then, I've been watching movies and all sortsa crazy stuff on my computer... from my couch! Woo! It's fun, you should join me!

Rally for Health Care Reform!
I want universal health care under a single payer system. I want to cut away the concept of health insurance from the more noble cause of health care. People should never be afraid of going to see their doctor, and the doctor should never feel pressured to prescribe a pill over preventative medicine (like exercise). And no one should make money at the expense of someone else's health. ( I say expense; that is different from a health care professional who makes money at the benefit of someone's health.)That is an activity that is unacceptable under any set of moral codes. When will we, those who believe as I do, feel the need to march on Washington and make our voices heard? Why don't you let me know when you're ready...

Chinese web addicts!
Check out this news article on Chinese web addicts
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/8344002.stm
They estimate 10% of the internet using population is ADDICTED to the internet (Defined as using the internet for more than 6 hours per day and showing little interest in school). I'm pretty sure those kids aren't addicted to the internet so much as they're addicted to online gaming. Maybe if the Chinese government supported free speech and the free flow of information on the internet, these kids would learn to be more socially responsible by studying their role in government and politics on the internet!
Then they wouldn't have to beat kids to death for playing too many games. Right now they're enjoying all the negative aspects of internet (like creating bums who just play games) without any of the positive (the free flow of information and culture)
